The Sogang University Mentoring Center “Window of Thought” is pleased to host its fifth special lecture, “AI Semiconductors: Reshaping the World.”

This lecture will feature Junho Baek, CEO of FuriosaAI, a leading AI semiconductor startup gaining global attention, and Cheolmin Park, Executive Vice President at Samsung Electro-Mechanics, who is currently leading the development of advanced semiconductor glass substrates.

Junho Baek, a pioneer in Korea’s AI semiconductor startup ecosystem, will share insights on how domestic technology is carving out opportunities in a global market led by companies such as NVIDIA. He will also discuss the future of the AI semiconductor industry from an entrepreneurial perspective, including strategies for competing with global firms and his personal journey from large corporations to venture entrepreneurship.

Cheolmin Park, who previously worked at Intel and Samsung Electronics, will provide an expert analysis of Korea’s semiconductor industry and its global competitiveness. He will share insights on AI semiconductor strategies from a corporate perspective, ecosystem development, and future directions for technology advancement and market expansion.

Following the presentations, a panel discussion and Q&A session will be held with Jung-Hoon Cha, former head of the Venture Innovation Office at the Ministry of SMEs and Startups and former NVIDIA executive, offering a deeper and more engaging discussion.
