About AI-MBA
The Sogang University AI Big Data Innovation MBA is a specialized program designed to nurture professionals capable of connecting AI and Big Data—the core technologies of the 4th Industrial Revolution—with business value. Beyond technology-centered education, we provide a customized curriculum for leaders who can create new business models and drive innovation based on data.
Students systematically study four major areas: AI, Big Data, Data Analytics, and Business Innovation. Through field-oriented projects and 1:1 faculty coaching, students develop practical business sense. This course is designed to allow even non-majors to grow into AI/Big Data business experts through steady learning, making it the optimal choice for innovators leading future industries by converging technology and management.

- Big Data: Big Data Cloud Computing, Big Data Business Platform Development, Data Mining, Text Mining.
- Artificial Intelligence: Understanding Optimization and AI Applied Analysis, Artificial Intelligence Deep Learning, AI Application Practice.
- Business Innovation: Big Data Marketing, AI/Big Data Analysis for Financial Institutions, Business Innovation and Entrepreneurship, Advanced Business Innovation and Entrepreneurship, Metaverse Virtual Markets and Marketing Science, Business Courses (4 elective subjects from Pro-MBA).
Customized Coaching
- Small groups of 4–6 students are organized within the Albatross and Veritas sections.
- A dedicated professor is assigned to each group to create a personalized coaching environment.
- Professional Topic Research: Conduct in-depth research through 1:1 coaching with professors, exploring commercialization topics and strengthening business plan development skills.
Practicum: Business Model Implementation
- Team-based implementation of business models using learned AI/Big Data techniques on the web.
- Establish and present viable business models with marketability.
- The Practicum Competition and award ceremony are held, with winners posted in the Hall of Fame.
Global Seminar
Every seasonal semester, a 3-day Field Trip is provided to visit global AI hubs. These trips offer direct global AI experience through academic seminars and corporate visits.

The Sogang University AI Big Data Innovation MBA is a program dedicated to nurturing professionals who can bridge the core technologies of the 4th Industrial Revolution—AI and Big Data—with actual business. We go beyond technology-oriented education to provide a customized curriculum for leaders who can lead innovation and create new business models based on data.
Our program supports systematic and personalized education for those who wish to grow into AI/Big Data business experts. We help you systematically acquire knowledge in four critical areas (AI, Big Data, Data Analytics, and Business Innovation) and offer team-based coaching on specific topics. The journey concludes with the implementation of a real-world business model through a team project.
This course is designed for talents who want to grow as analysis experts or those planning a startup related to AI/Big Data. Even if you are not a Computer Science major, we provide the foundation for you to grow into a specialist if you complete the curriculum faithfully. We welcome those with a strong spirit of challenge who are ready to fully engage with our program, even without prior expertise in programming or analytics.
The program is a one-year, full-time Saturday course (completed within 16 weeks per year). Through Professional Topic Research, you will develop the ability to explore business ideas and write business plans, finally implementing an AI-based business model through the competition. By investing your Saturdays for about 1 year and 4 months, you can transform into an AI/Big Data business expert. We also help you build a human network that will remain a vital asset in the industry.
