ACE (Advancement of College Education) Project
The ACE (Advancement of College Education) project, initiated in 2011, is a Ministry of Education-led initiative aimed at discovering and fostering "well-teaching universities" that possess leading models of undergraduate education. It is an undergraduate education project operated based on government subsidies to identify and disseminate pioneering models for college education.
Sogang University was selected for the ACE project in 2011 and established as well as disseminated a two-way, creative education paradigm focused on problem-solving through its undergraduate education, systems, and infrastructure. Notably, in 2015, the university re-entered the ACE+ project, receiving recognition for its excellence in undergraduate education and achieving the distinction of being a university that practices "good teaching."
