This is an introductory course in business administration that aims to make students aware of the free enterprise system, which is the foundation of the capitalist economy, and the economic, political, legal, resource, and consumer environments surrounding corporations. MGT2002 Business Statistics

This course introduces basic concepts and methodologies of statistics, fundamental theories of probability and sampling, statistical estimation methods, hypothesis testing, correlation, regression equations, and time series analysis.

MGT2003 Principles of Accounting

After each financial crisis, the financial industry has undergone fundamental structural reforms, so it is very important to understand how they occurred and through what mechanisms they affected the financial system including financial institutions. This course provides students with an overview of the major financial crises of the past. We will also study several important causes of those crises and discuss how the government responded to those crises by reforming the financial systems.

To enhance understanding of accounting principles, it compares accrual basis and cash basis, examines the principle of revenue recognition in detail, and studies the actual application of accounting principles by reviewing valuation methods for financial statement components such as marketable securities, accounts receivable, investment assets, inventories, fixed assets, and bonds.
