Q. What are the differences between the General Track and the Next-Generation Leadership Track?

The differences between the two tracks are as follows:
- 1. General Track
- Educational Objective: To cultivate managers with professional expertise.
- Target Audience: Individuals aspiring to grow as professional managers.
- Major: Students can complete up to two double majors among Finance, Venture, and Digital Innovation (Requires 8 or more credits of Major Electives in the respective field).
- Core Courses for Graduation:
- Financial Management, Organizational Behavior, Financial Accounting, Managerial Decision Making, Marketing, Business Statistics, Strategic Management, International Business, Operations Management, Global Seminar.
- Major Electives: 3 credits.
- 2. Next-Generation Leadership Track
- Educational Objective: To nurture next-generation leaders preparing for Corporate Succession.
- Target Audience: Next-generation managers preparing for succession as future business leaders.
- Major: Future Manager (Requires 10 or more credits of Core Courses including the Future Manager Project in the relevant field).
- Core Courses for Graduation:
- Any 6 courses among: Financial Management, Organizational Behavior, Financial Accounting, Managerial Decision Making, Marketing, Business Statistics, Strategic Management, International Business, Operations Management.
- Global Seminar.
- At least 10 credits from: Corporate Succession Strategy and Management, Understanding the SME Management Environment, SME Management, SME Global Growth Strategy, SME New Business Innovation Strategy, Future Manager Leadership, Future Manager Project, Future Manager Internship (Up to 6 credits can be substituted with majors from other programs).
Available courses, scholarship systems, the student council, and dual degree programs are identical for both tracks.

Q. What is the admission procedure and schedule?

The process consists of a document review followed by an interview for all applicants who have submitted their documents. Admissions are held for the March (Spring) and September (Fall) intakes, with applications opening in October and April, respectively. Yes, international students are welcome to apply. However, please note that except for the Core Courses, classes are conducted in Korean, and all academic administration is also managed in Korean.

English scores are not mandatory. However, for the General Track, extra points may be awarded based on the scores provided.

We offer the following scholarship programs:
- Academic Excellence Scholarship: Awarded to students with outstanding academic performance each semester.
- Sogang Pride Scholarship: Awarded to students recommended by the Admission Committee based on their entrance performance.
- Service Scholarship: Awarded to members of the Student Council.
- Special Recommendation Scholarship: Awarded to students recommended by the Program Chair or Department Head.

Yes. Upon graduation, you will be awarded a Master of Business Administration (MBA) degree, which qualifies you to apply for doctoral (Ph.D.) programs.

All Core Courses are conducted in English, while other elective courses are conducted in Korean.

Track switching is possible subject to a review by the committee. However, after switching, you must fulfill the graduation requirements of the newly selected track to graduate.

S-MBA students are eligible to take all courses offered within the Graduate School of Business. However, some courses may require prior approval from the respective professor.

As a full-time program, classes are primarily held during the day on weekdays (Monday to Thursday).

You can take up to two online courses offered by other programs among the Core Courses.

All S-MBA students are eligible to apply for dual degree programs. Since qualifications and the duration required for graduation vary by partner university, the process involves discussing these requirements with the administration team, after which we will facilitate the connection with the respective school.

Q. Do I need to write a thesis for graduation?

A thesis is not a requirement for graduation. You can obtain your degree without submitting a thesis.

Q. How much is the tuition per semester and the total tuition?

Based on the 2026 academic year, the tuition for a regular semester is 15,667,000 KRW, and the tuition for a seasonal (summer/winter) semester is 10,444,000 KRW. The S-MBA is a one-year program consisting of three semesters (two regular and one seasonal), totaling 41,778,000 KRW. Note: Admission fees and alumni association fees are separate.
